Who we are

Information we collect

What you send us. When you fill in the appraisal request form, we receive what you type: your name, phone number, email, preferred contact method, property details, the purpose of the appraisal, access details, and your notes.

Collected automatically. Our website host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and running. This site does not currently set tracking cookies or use advertising pixels. We may add Google Analytics in the future to understand how the site is used. If we do, we will update this policy.

How we use it

• To answer your request and to prepare, schedule and deliver appraisals.
• To follow up with you by phone, email or, if you opt in, text message.
• To meet legal, licensing and record-keeping requirements.
• To keep the website working and secure.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help run this site and the business, such as our website, form and hosting provider and the email and messaging tools we use to respond to you. We may also share information when the law requires it, for example with a court or a licensing authority. We never sell your personal information.

Text messages

If you check the text-message box on the form, or otherwise ask us to text you, Don Mosich may send you text messages about your request and related appraisal services, from his phone or through a messaging service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, and HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of any service.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.

Your choices

• Your information: email djmosich@premierappraisals.org to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, a correction, or deletion. Appraisal work files are excluded from deletion requests, because the law requires us to keep them, as described below.
• Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to respond to you, provide our services, and meet legal, licensing and record-keeping requirements. Appraisal work files are kept for at least five years after preparation, or at least two years after final disposition of any judicial proceeding in which I testified, whichever is later, as USPAP requires. Because the law requires us to keep them, appraisal work files are excluded from deletion requests.

Appraisal confidentiality

Information about an appraisal assignment, including the results and the report, is kept confidential as required by USPAP. It is shared only with the client, with parties the client authorizes, and as the law or USPAP allows, for example in response to a subpoena or a state licensing review.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no website or email is completely secure. Please don't send bank details or Social Security numbers through this site.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
